@matt I like Gentoo because it's a slowly rolling release distro. The nice thing about it is that you have a pretty insane control over how fast you want it to roll.

You can very easily unmask everything or specific packages, specific versions, up to some version, down to some version, even categories like `kde-plasma` and so on.

If you're going to do that I would advice you to make them unlisted or follower only.
