Why is it that I can never seem to get the rpi I want until they've been out for 6 months?

I have a job offer letter which states: A subsidy of $570 is to be paid in 3 equal installments."

However, the people presenting the offer letter tell me that means the total paid will be $1710. And the language in the offer letter does not need to change because as stated, the total to be paid is $1710.

Has math changed since I was in school? Or is this some sort of hiring test?

Playing Samus Returns. It's a blast and gorgeous. But I don't think it's more fun than Metroid was on the nes and snes.

Metroid's got what you call 'playabliltiy'. Always has.

I'm curious how this one called "Pocket Dungeon Quest" says it's for 1-4 people.

@klaatu I have more than a dozen new or nearly so table top games I want to send you in exchange for review shows.

So I bought a ton of games from goodwill. The problem is most people I'd want to play them with are on the net.

Is there a program that lets you scan things in and put them in a virtual world so you can interact with people on the net as if you were all around a table?

@dthompson I'm guessing the same reason I didn't play arcade mode until I could be puzzle mode on the hardest settings. Arcade mode is too hard.

But eventually puzzle mode gets too boring.

@dthompson How do you do on arcade mode? With the most colors selected, I can usually top 1,000 but it took way too long to get that good.

This is on my phone. Couldn't come close on the desktop.

Something I wish more language references would include is examples of how to continue the command. I mean specifically how to continue the specific command when that's not straight forward. REXX PARSE command is an example one I thought should include continuation in examples.

@klaatu Met with an HR rep who told me she doesn't know when the acquisition will be final. So I guess that Sep date came from a dream.
