My cyberpunk adventure game Neofeud about my experiences growing up a POC in an American ghetto then working with homeless and immigrants is on sale all over the place today! Any money that you give me (I am the writer/artist/programmer/etc.. all the money goes to me) is going to go straight into cleaning our water catchment tubes which are full of leaves, and so the water comes out like arboreal tea and smells like old dogs when we wash our clothes, lol. 😂 😭

There're going to be growing pains as the artistic medium of video games matures and grows - on the part of gamers and game companies, some of whom would like to view games as, "Just fun distractions, digital toys." It will be a struggle, but it's better for all gamers and culture generally, which is increasingly dominated by games by screentime, for everyone to deal with it and grow up, rather than pretend we're all just kids of various ages merely "playing around"

Let me translate that: "I'm a fascist capitalist fuck fake-left who would have slaves with bits in their mouth growing my food, cleaning my laundry, teaching my kids, etc., but it's politically inconvenient in my Connecticut MSNBC-liberal Gala-crowd to have them nowadays, so bring more under-the-table Mexicans at $5/hr."

In America, if you do anything of value, you are sent off to die in the shithole with the poor, the POCs and immigrants you're trying to help. If you're a self-aggrandizing fascist fuck, you become Mayor, senator, CEO, billionaire philanthropist playboy entrepreneur, and President as thanks for your absence of caring and exploiting all the modern slaves, prison-slaves, offshore slaves, and wage slaves. It was MY fucking job to get kids to discard Bloods and Crips bandannas for microscopes & Javascript. I was paid starvation wages, and was literally homeless at several points, living in a relatives closet or in a Mazda Tribute with my wife and two kids, eating spoonfulls of Skippy Peanut Butter for dinner, while working on Scratch and Lego curriculum while Administrators were taking home 7 figures dropping in to eo photo ops with poor black/brown kids doing science. THIS IS FUCKING AMERICA

I signed up to try to educate these kids, to try to tell them why scoring bling, and winning rap battles is not a career path - by outrapping them about civil rights. I listened to their stories of rape in homeless shelters, of never seeing a parent working 3 jobs, of being beaten in the street for sleeping in front of fancy hotels. It went into their collapsing hot-water-free flats, got them out of their 10-kids-to-a-room cages on a bus to robotics competitions and programming classes.

The US withdrawing from the UN Human Rights Council, the child concentration camps, this IS America. We can turn away from the reality, from the ugliness and the fact that many of these kids have a parents in prison or OD'ed on drugs, have no education but gangsta rap, Grand Theft Auto, and Pornhub, see their only future as becoming the next Kanye or Kardashian, running drugs and stealing cars. We can turn away, and let neutrality help the oppressor. I refuse. because those kids ARE me.

US Human Rights Abuses: we have a long history of this. I grew up a POC in an American ghetto, and worked as a teacher & social worker for these many homeless and hungry kids. I witnesses America take millions of poor, non-white, and immigrant kids from parents, put them with people who don't care, then pump them full of psychotropic drugs for big pharma profit, *intentionally* fail to educate them, and then dump them in prisons to make Whole Foods products at 74 cents / hr. This is reality.
