@DrAndrewThaler It's an eternal dilemma when someone says something stupid. Are they sincere and wrong, or are they venal liars? (or both). My default is to assume that when someone paints "FLAT EARTH" on their rocket, they actually mean it, and are not simply trying to pick the pockets of ignorant people.

This is why we need better sex ed.
