What are some #commands for playing all the #music files in a directory that is not the official Music directory? I'm running #Linux and have VLC, Rhythmbox, default player and Clementine

@Zach I feel like that more often. It's hard to find new people because most don't hashtag their interests, and my timezone is such the people fluent in my mother tongue are mostly elsewhere.

@jeremiah I'm using IRC for helpdesk now, as the terminal path for helpdesk keeps freezing. I'll let you know what I learn, if you care.

@jeremiah This must be a site issue. I typed 'helpdesk' and my terminal hangs: I can't enter any keyboard input. stat gives me 'lrwx------' plus my userid group, a long number, four datestamps from 2015, a five digit number, 0 0 and the folder I'm locked out of.

@jeremiah I don't have permissions to use sudo remotely.

@jeremiah I mean I cannot execute ls -al or any command on my /www/ folder (html alias) in the remote shell I've sshed into

@jeremiah yes, and I can sftp, but I cannot execute any commands on remote files, including ls -la

@jeremiah I'm connecting via ssh. My website is up but I can't navigate to its files via terminal.

If I'm encountering 'Permission Denied errors' on remote #sftp commands, that means there's something wrong with the site I'm connected to, right? I get 'Name or service not known'' errors when I try standard #ftp.
