@architect Well said, agreed!
An idea just came to my mind: You know those infographics with a list of logos with proprietary tools like Adobe Photoshop and there is the open source replacement e.g. GIMP or Krita.
I never saw such a list with hardware. Systems like Talos II, Baikal or Teres could be shown on such a list.

@architect Cool, thank you, did not know this brand before. I guess it's got it's price because it's 10.3" - great device! I had a look at InkBooks but not sure about Linux on them.

Is the Kobo Aura One (technically) the best E-reader (in the around 8" or over category) that is capable of running on Linux?
Or is there maybe a better E-reader device someone using it with Linux? -

@LazyTechsupport @kosh Which OS do you use on Kobo? Stock android?

@danieljamespost Cool! In which way is it better? More vivid colors? Or easier for the eyes?
Btw you could use Coreboot/Libreboot with that machine.

@micahflee This is journalism, great article, thank you. Those search history speculations are interesting. It's not know though which search engine it's all about. The most silly alternative seems to be that they used G.

@hund Well, unfortunately you won't be able to print that out... :D But that's interesting, aluminium case, that will be sturdy (and beautiful).

Is there maybe a frontend, which shows the number of comments after a toot? Or just shows something, which indicates whether there are comments or not?
I'm a bit surprised there is no way to add the posts of an other instance to the local timeline. More accounts are needed for this task.

@hund @Ghosty @isak Yes, yt-dl works great. Maybe it'll get implemented in FreeTube.

If I'm not mistaken, there is no way to follow an instance (all the toots there) - or is it possible somehow?

@maxigaz I had good experiences with text messages, but mixed ones with audio and video. It's definitely not a mature application yet.
There are many open source tools (like spreed.me, rocket.chat or zulip), but sometimes it's not easy to find the one someone is looking for.
