Getting some car work done and next to an Ikea. Thinking about trying out some of their offices. Wonder how long I could work in the showroom before getting kicked out...

@liw yes, I try to avoid posting the subscriber links in public posts. I'd like more people to subscribe!

Though, I'm a bit of a hypocrite there as Canonical hasn't taken me off their group buy yet. I figure they will discover that someday, but until then I'm rich! 😉

@bob that's kinda how Newsblur handles it. It takes the RSS feeds and then has an "intelligence trainer" that you can use to modify the feeds. It works for me.

@rysiek Gitlab CI is based on docker, so I find using the local docker registry to make images of my build dependency speeds up build and test jobs significantly.

Excited that this is being discussed and worked on. It was always something that we knew would make Ubuntu Phone better but could never make the cut to get funded. There was a lot of those. But this was a particular passion of mine as I had to write most of the work arounds for not having it. — https://lwn.net/Articles/761118/rss

@federicomena @vickylai @aperezdc I use it for that and also to hang my water bottle off the pocket of the seat in front of me. Keeps it accessible without rolling around.

I've switched from a climbing carabiner to a hero clip because it is a bit more flexible on where you can put it.

@vickylai @aperezdc @federicomena in Spain I once had a carabiner taken because the guard was worried I could use it as brass knuckles.

@aperezdc @federicomena @vickylai it looks like TSA doesn't want any of them. Here is their list:

I find it interesting they had to specifically call out "Meat Cleaver" and "Saber."

Got an SMS recovery code for WeChat this morning. I don't have and have never had an account.

Now stuck worrying if someone is trying to steal my phone number or just typed in theirs wrong.

@dajbelshaw that might just be switching from Unity to GNOME Shell. You can get Unity back by installing unity-desktop-session.

@federicomena @vickylai I really hate traveling without one as well. Though, I don't mind checking bags that much. Seems a small addition to the overall pain of flying.

@ted a lot of public libraries do this for a fee for the general public, and most academic libraries deliver to people's mailboxes on campus

@alatiera mostly, they weren't providing a convenience service as much as competing with membership services like Blockbuster. But from the user experience it is roughly the same.
