Mailspring is able to produce some simple stats and graphs on your mail, which is both scary and interesting. I think it really just shows I spend too much time dealing with e-mail.

An inventory management problem (read: I messed up) has caused me to run out of my normal coffee, forcing me to drink burnt beans this week.

If I seem bitter, you'll know why.

Support local roasters, and if you're in DFW, this is some great coffee: https://oakcliffcoffee.com/

@david_ross I think it is also client based. For instance, I'm using Pinafore which does different cropping. And I think the mobile clients are different as well.

I think you probably want to use the focus point that was just introduced so that the cropping can always do a reasonable job instead of optimizing to a particular size or ratio.

@tinker my understanding of the error is that it is actually a failure to load the initial binary blob to boot the device. That most commonly happens for folks because there isn't enough power to run the SD card and so that's what is most of the web says.

The reason you're seeing it is there is a different blob for the 3B and the 3B+, so the 3B+ can't load the one available on your SD card.

Playing with OpenWhisk on IBM's Cloud and I'm really in shock that they seem to only be able to download Docker images from Docker Hub.

It has apparently been this way for a couple of years: https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/307961/does-bluemix-openwhisk-support-a-docker-action-pul.html

And what blows my mind is IBM even has its own container registry that apparently you can't use either.

Does Bluemix openwhisk support a docker action pulled from private docker repository?
Hi , after following the examples provided for build a nodejs app and push it to OpenWhisk, I realized that all the containers that OpenWhisk is is pulling are public. I don't see any means to authenticate to pull a container on a private repository from Docker hub. Is this option supported? Regards

@tinker for me I was getting that using a disk image that only supported the 3B on a 3B+. Ended up going back and getting 3Bs.

Talking about how on Linux only root can bind to the lower port numbers.

Remembering a time when that was actually a useful security feature. Because, nobody who is untrusted would actually have *root* on a Unix machine. Then everyone can trust all the lower ports.

    Such an innocent time.
