I made a fresh advert looking for rooms on spareroom and now i am overwhelmed by responses, which is good because some look nice but woah this is information overload and dealing with all this is frying my brain

I wish our computer was a laptop

@ej yep, i'm trying to be objective when i look at places, I mean the housemates here were baffled when i moved in and bleached their entire kitchen but after that it stayed perfectly clean with minimal effort. I'm happy to scrub up a place but the overwhelming stench of ass in yesterday's place was more than i was prepared to deal with 😂 I'm used to places with a bit of damp and mould too, but the other half gets a bad chest if there's too much so I gotta be thorough.

@ej You're so right about the companies! We found our current place through spareroom, and for a while it was kinda ok but now they wanna sell it. Now i'm looking through openrent, easyroommate, etc and the agencies are sneaking their ads onto all the sites now and it's also hard to find somewhere affordable that will take a couple. I've been looking out as far as Zone 5, Harrow was nice, but today I'm gonna angle the search more south. Places look great in photos but stink when I get there 😢

@dadegroot I think getting the council involved takes months and we have to leave at the end of March anyway
They have a literally empty room upstairs that I have been asking for a key for so we can at least sleep up there but they are not good people
