@Michcioperz not necessarily. Any static binary will work inside sio2jail, it doesn't have to be compiled with gcc 4.8.
They may have slightly different measurement results with different compilers, but that's also been theh case with oitimetool.

In case you wondered how to use topics with gerrit:
git push my-gerrit-remote HEAD:refs/for/master/$topic
@rysiek @thamesynne @ccc maybe your reverse DNS crashes their server, or sth
@Michcioperz we could just make a simple wrapper script that creates the equivalent of sio2jail/bin/boxes/minimal (i.e. a directory with empty file called `exe` for bind-mouting the binary) and then execs sio2jail with the right arguments.
Aaaand the CI failed on the first in series, and, as a consequence, on all of them.
Great.
@Michcioperz can scrot make a screenshot of a single <div> ?
Finally the misleading "Save" button (which actually uploads shit to ffox cloud) is gone, and the "Download" button (which saves screenshots on disk, like you'd expect the "save" button to do) is the default.
so now Cloudflare:
- hosts website's DNS
- reverse-proxies websites
- runs a DNS over HTTPS resolver
- runs an IPFS gateway
Is it just me, or are they positioning themselves to be able to MITM everything?
@strypey
Fair point.
Actually, I think I experienced this myself recently.
When I initially read [0], I felt like
"Hooray SirCmpwn was harsh on DMARC and whoever is using it!"
But now that I read it... he wasn't very harsh at all. He was firm, and used simple words with obvious meaning, but wasn't harsh.
I think this is a better style than that of Linus.
Why do we insist on the follower-followee model? Why do we post to https://$instance/users/$me/followers ?
Why do we subscribe to accounts instead of groups/topics?
@redsPL is the room on fire?
@simon_brooke
you forgot overpowered corporations which are effectively monopolies, corrupt government slowly heading towards authoritarianism, intelligence agencies which escaped all control and oversight, and general disregard of human rights, civil liberties, their own law and their own constitution.
As for Britan heading that way... they said they don't want to be part of Europe? Fine, I won't count them as an European country.
@nihl how many `-v`s have you added?
@nihl does `ansible -m setup` work?

~someone[0] on University of Oulu
Damn it, I wish my university was like that.
@rysiek @privacylab @succfemboi I think a good start would be making a separate package for chromium-ungoogled and getting it accepted into official repos
@Shamar
It's very hard to find words.
And if you start explaining the basics first, the person will get bored.
@Shamar I'm barely a BsC, and I'd have trouble explaining a lot of stuff to non-tech people, in a way that doesn't make them bored.
It's like trying to explain a series sum to someone who doesn't understand what a number is.
@tda I had half a semester of haskell at university, and the language is very cool. Monads are the best thing ever.
@tda what about XMonad? :P
