yeah the quality is not exactly a huge deal but i like to think of the weekly episode of a tv show i like as a special occasion, especially when the show i'm binge-watching right now is voyager in glorious 4:3 standard def :p

remember when 1080p 45min tv episodes were like 4gb and not ~400mb

when the torrent of the next episode of a show you want is up...but it's the 720p version, and the 1080p version isn't up yet

do i just go ahead and watch the 720p one or do i wait for the 1080p one? hmmmmmm

@sc the ms app store is bearable, apple has a decent one but their push toward only using it and the cost of submitting apps is disgusting

ms and apple aren't doing a very good job with their app stores, but i have seen a couple decent iterations in linux distros

app stores are incredibly convenient and even though i know there are a lot of problems with them, i think they'd be a really good idea to keep around even in an ideal society, if we can manage to rectify the issues

updating and installing shit on my phone is 10x easier than doing any of that on a desktop pc

we got a tiny drone the other day because toys r us is closing down (also the source of my tiny pikmin figurine) and willow is Not Pleased

though i don't really blame her, it sounds and moves like some sort of insect

i want to check out super lucky's tale because the main character looks adorable and is absolutely my aesthetic but unfortunately the game only works through the windows store and on xbox one

and despite using windows, i don't have store functionality on my desktop, nor do i plan on giving money to microsoft
