@oletedstilts I'm with you. Don't call the cops over personality conflicts. Been around the poor also, it's a very stressful lifestyle and personal interactions have a different rhythm. Calling the police just increases the stress as there are so many petty laws that increase the burden of poverty.

@ultimape Drought area here too but no funded programs. There is the occasional green lawn (w/watered sidewalks) though the majority of people just stopped watering, a few put in veg gardens. We stripped lawn and put in a veg garden years ago so we were good to go. A short fad to spray brown lawns green is over.

@BertL Tricks come in handy during rainy winters when no one wants to go out. Depends on the dog...some are outward focused, some people oriented. Say 'hello' and he'll raise his paw. 'Circle' is a right, 'spin' is a left.
