@InvaderXan I've found setting up a list helps hugely - trying to keep up with *everything* was becoming untenable and rather burdensome, so if I feel the need to catch up, I just skip over to that list's timeline instead. Brought catching up with overnight toots down from being a 2+ hour affair to maybe fifteen minutes. ^_^

They've modified their TOS:

Too early to tell for certain, but Safari Technology Preview 83 *might* have finally fixed that pesky Masto bug, wherein closing an image you've viewed at full size may reset one or more of the TL columns to the top. I'll be quite pleased if so - Firefox works fine most of the time, but tends to get bogged down sometimes, especially if any TL isn't left at the top, and a few hours' toots accumulate.

@alana_is_tooting *hug* Don't worry - none of us are always the best people we can be, especially when there's a trigger point like that. (Assuming they were simply mistaken, of course, and not being an arse) The main thing is to try to ensure those moments are as infrequent as possible.

@Lexi What do people *do* with these poor things? O.o; Mine's over five years old, never had a case or protector, and it still looks near new. Am I some weird aberration?
