@coleoptera This is an ongoing (and I suspect will always be ongoing) issue with my cishet male partner. He will do the thing, but he doesn’t *think* to do the thing. Laundry? Sure. If I ask him, though he puts his dirty clothes in the same hamper I do and sees when it’s overflowing; sleeps in the same bed for a week but doesn’t think to strip and wash the sheets; uses the same hand towel in the bathroom but doesn’t think to change it.

@catte For Vienna, really just Absolute Must See, since we’re basically there for 36 hours. I’ve been before, so going to skip Schonbrun, but my partner hasn’t, and I didn’t go to the main museum last time. Just if there is something that is THE most important thing that I wouldn’t automatically find in tourist guides— a place to have dinner, a shop, a bar, that sort of thing.

This is literally only the second successful (and that's a little bit of a loose term, here, considering that we're still waiting on my client to actually get keys... we got into the apartment, but he can't lock it and leave) move-in that I've had, and it's been a couple of months.

This whole process is slow AF, and I've never in my life considered running for office before, but wow, does someone need to fix this system.

Spent all day battling a landlord who didn’t want to let my client move into an apartment today because his subsidy doesn’t pay the May rent until June (along with June’s rent), and had to finally break out “Yeah, but that’s illegal, so you have to, bro,” big guns... BUT despite a landlord’s attempts to undermine a single father, a worker, and a genuinely great human, I GOT SOMEONE OUT OF A SHELTER TODAY!

So, I have absolutely no interest in this story whatsoever, but I keep seeing the guy who is destroying Jeopardy’s name in headlines (it is James Holzhauer) and my brain automatically sees Jenny Holzer and EVERY. DAMN. TIME. I am so disappointed it’s not an article about her.
