@unicornfarts IDK I haven't worked on an aspirated, non electronic ignition vehicle in some time but I remember that timing can have strange symptoms on older motors.

@unicornfarts Timing? I have an old timing light I haven't used in a decade or more. That's fixing to change. I have my eyes and heart set in a 1966 Ford short bed pickup.

So, any ideas on a cool school computer for my son? We've thought of a mac book, a mac book running Linux, a home brew in a wooden case (think pizza box) and a regular laptop with Linux.

@StrikerD This one is run by a school district in the county north of us and I'm not sure what I think yet. I am happy they were gracious enough to let him attend since we're a whole county and three school districts away.

My youngest son started his first day of high school today at a somewhat local STEM magnate school today. All if his classmates are nerds, just like him. He's so excited. We're tossing about ideas for a supercool school computer.

@h4ck3r9 HOAs can take your home for fines here as well in Texas. They were supposed to fix that but I don't know if they did.

@h4ck3r9 I'm my view, in the US, we don't own land. We rent it from the taxing authorities who will seize our land for back taxes and find a new tenant.
