    Not sure about France but it used to be true in the US when regular fuel didn’t have any additive like premium fuels had. These additives would clear and prevent combustion residue buildups so it justified getting the better stuff even if the higher octane wasn’t needed. However nowadays all fuels have similar additives so it wouldn’t be warranted.

    Since I just looked it up you get to hear about it: unless your car requires higher octane fuel (or “premium fuel”), you don’t need to pump it over regular fuel at all. It wasn’t the case before but now both include engine detergents so there is no benefit to pay the markup.

    I lost contact with so many people when my Facebook account was frozen. Initially I felt guilty about not keeping in touch via other means, but most of them didn’t contact me either so I was able to shed some of that guilt. Props to the ones who did contact me though.

    I recently realized that the reason it’s oddly more affordable to rent than buy a home in #NYC is because there are too many people interested in collecting rent money which drives the real estate sales price up. Pokes a hole in the American “only hard work pays” ethos.

    Yesterday I got a painful reminder of why I mostly use social media to stay in touch with people. I actively sent follow-up text messages to exactly two (2) people and it left me mentally drained. I much prefer passive updates through social media status messages.

    What makes me livid about this comically Republican OK bill beyond the obvious censorship and the predictable harm to actual children is that wealthy Democrats within the state wouldn't be affected by it and would have little incentive to fight against it beyond virtue signaling.

    It was mostly enjoyable for me until I met robots in Arizona. I kind of powered through the difficulty spike and it eventually got better until California where the first random encounter out of the base camp with heavy armored bullet sponges nearly wiped out my team. And that’s when I put the game down.

    Regardez bien, l'échelle est en jours de trajet. Vous avez raison pour la distance, mais vu que le téléscope n'a pas de propulseur principal, sa vitesse n'a cessé de diminuer depuis son détachementdu booster à cause de l'attraction gravitationelle qu'il subit, ce qui lui a fait traverser la distance Terre-Lune (25% du trajet total) en seulement 8% du temps de trajet total pour arriver en orbite L2.
