Hmm. So, anybody have any advice for me on the ethics and practicalities of getting free food? I'm thinking mainly canned stuff, and pasta - vegetables, beans, etc. I'm not desperately broke or starving, but I am short enough on money that I worry about my budget constantly and could probably stand to eat more. I'm not sure if I should really be picking food from food pantries or whatever like this, though? :/

Not sure exactly how these would be funded, though? Maybe everybody is expected to give something to help fund one of these? I don;t want to just use the government, because I want people to have control, and be able to choose who they think are doing a good job or not. :/

@h Some companies would be charged with investigating and reporting on other companies to make sure they're not getting up to any funny business, and some would even be charged with maintenance of the system as a whole - finding gaps and funding new companies to fill them, Helping companies fund new investments in infrastructure, helping them find markets or suppliers, etc, etc.

@h Oh yes, this would be just part of the system. I'm thinking some kind of a federated open source system, where anyone could set up a company to do X, right? But there are culturally enforced limits to how big and what you can do in pursuit of X. And How much of the proceeds you can take, etc, etc.
