@teclador Natürlich. Aber dort kommt noch ein anderer Punkt hinzu: Konkret zu der Software von Google gibt es klar widerstrebende Meinungen und Interessen. Wo die Google-Software aus Datenschutzgründen oft eine Katastrophe ist, gibt es aus Funktions- und Usability-Sicht wenig, was dem auf Android das Wasser reichen könnte. Selbst dort springt die Idee von Bequemlichkeit zu kurz: Wird bei einem Schritt weg von Google meine Aufgabe nur komplizierter, oder wird sie für mich unmöglich? 😉

@h Well, if I could make a wish, it'll possibly be something feature- and usability-wise on par with or even better than #vscode but as a native, "lightweight" tool (closer to Sublime than to IntelliJ). But I think it'll more be, like, editors and development environments in the browser and running on development servers in near future (just like Eclipse Che does) for quite some use cases.

@diritschka Oh cool, Respekt. 😉 So weit hab ich es nicht geschafft... Was Schlagzeuger betrifft, sehe ich das ähnlich. Da sind Queensryche noch eher "ruhig"... Was man dort in Thrash / Death Metal sieht, ist ja noch einen ganzen Zacken heftiger. Von Ideen wie singenden Drummern ganz zu schweigen... 😉

@D22 Danke, das kannte ich noch nicht. Muss ich mir mal in der Gänze zu Gemüte führen. Auf den ersten Blick: Die Zahlen zu Netflix und Spotify wundern mich nicht, die zu den Nachrichtenquellen schon.

Das Interview von @holgi mit der Tincon-Vertreterin bei radioeins zeigt relativ deutlich, dass alles an gegenwärtiger Kommunikation bezüglich Datenschutz und Privatsphäre in relevanten Zielgruppen ganz gut ins Leere greift. 😔

@h I'm by no means a #JavaScript guy, spent most of my development years using Java and Eclipse and now mostly am working with #python, #bash scripting, #Jenkins configurations, #Dockerfiles, #puppet config files and the like. #vscode supports all of them in a meaningful way and has a lot of very well thought-out details especially also when it comes to things such as #git integration and the like. It seems just like #vim or #emacs without the need to be configured to be usable. 😉
