@gizm0_0 News said PA will see some of it, but probably no where near as the coast. I’m a bit north of Manhattan and they’re getting more snow than here. Boston and Long Island will probably get the worst of it
@Dustin The building supervisor just parked the plow and came inside. It’s just not worth it since the wind blows in fresh snow into the parking lot seconds after he’s done cleaning
@jcdietrich Thanks! I came up here with a couple of blankets and lots of supplies. I'm probably gonna be sleeping here today. This is a converted apartment so there's a small kitchen and a couch to sleep on
My vote for weirdest Disney product ever (that still worked): TailSpin.
Anthropomorphic animals working as seaplane couriers in some tropical locale, poach some characters out of a completely unrelated movie, oh yeah and there's sky pirates. And the kid can fly using a boomerang skateboard hybrid.
@rysiek I'm starting to think Mozilla is just too big as an organization at this point. They've got so many things to going on at the same time that building a secure browser is just taking a backseat
It's worth noting that libraries are the last of the commons and public spaces not currently exploited by the corporations. How long it remains that way isn't certain
Consider: Loitering is banned Panhandlers are persecuted Homeless are threatened
Without libraries, there aren't many spaces left for some people to merely *exist*
@djsundog My laser cutter is related to that. It's designed to be stowed away vertically, when not in use (impossible with the majority of cutters). It's also just under 4 feet wide so it fits into the back seat of a typical sedan and tolerate a bit of rough handling
The goal being it can be moved form place to place without taking up too much space and can be setup by one person within minutes and start cutting away
