Anyone know where i could get a digital copy of the PAX verification code wheel for Neuromancer?

The game is on archive.org, but it had a code wheel as a form of copy protection, and I'm going to need to cop a copy.

@debugninja depends on your use case. their ip ranges are burned pretty hard by spammers.

but as far as hardware i was a client for a little over 8 months. the support queue can be a little bananas but in their CA datacenters (Vancouver i think is where i was) it was good enough for personal app hosting and storage.

Hey, I'm danj@ and I'm one of the porters who care the most about backporting fixes to the -stable branch for the ports tree.

I'm thinking about providing stable packages. If I'm going to do it, I want do it correctly which requires work.

Would you support my work on patreon? I'm trying to see if there's interest for it. (answering in a DM is fine)

If your company would benefit from it, feel free to talk to your boss about it.

Please boost to reach a wider audience!

'In Groundbreaking Decision, Feds Say Hacking DRM to Fix Your Electronics Is Legal'

"This decision by the Copyright Office will make it legal to bypass that software lock, but actually doing it is another matter altogether... The thing is—as DRM becomes legal to crack, companies are committed to making it much harder to do so."

Sounds like, with this decision, DRM cracking is less of a legal issue, but will remain a technical issue and maybe become a sort of arms race

@LilFluff it should do just fine. we've pushed docker to edge with tiny boards like rpi gen2 (have not tested gen1) and those laptops were better specced than SBC's.

@kylerankin Sadly, current e2e msg apps, including Signal, built a world *worse* than CAs in this respect. If WhatsApp backdoors e2e for ad data or for govts (why not both?), to revoke trust you must convince all your friends to revoke trust, or else fall back to insecure SMS.
