@kylerankin Applied to CAs, this means if a CA violates your trust, you should be able to revoke your trust in them but still be able to browse the web securely. And if you don't trust, say, Verisign's CA, you can anchor your trust in another vendor and web browsing is secure.

@pamela yeah, before i would have just uninstalled the app or logged out and let it sit for a few days 😂

my little newegg phaux paus has gone "viral" in the sense i've had more interactions with it percapita than i can possibly deal with.

I have no idea how the popular folks deal with it. I'm pretty happy being a garden variety normal, whatever constitutes "normal" anyway 😂

thank you mastodon, for reminding me there's a healthy way to ingest these social interactions, and giving me the tools *at hand* to dial it in.

@drwho @dirt yeah turns out that an attitude of "I'm an _artist_ man, if you don't understand how my code works it's because you'll never get it, like jazz" ISN'T actually good for engineering functioning systems

I'm locked down if you try to add me, but that's so I can filter out the bots. If you've got a few posts I'll accept :)

running a project is like having a handful of sand

with an iron grip you'll be left with little

with an open hand you'll have an abundance

as you develop a project, open and extend your hand to others wanting to contribute.

soon you will need 2 hands to hold the sand

an iron grip is the fastest way to fail. an open, welcoming hand is the fastest way to succeed
