The trick is I don't think he knew he was learning how to solve it, he just kept doing it while looking at the algorithms and just naturally learnt them because that's the way that works

Anyway point is never say "never," always be willing to learn a new skill or try a new hobby

One of my coworkers a week ago: How the hell can you solve a rubik's cube I'll NEVER be able to do that!

Same coworker today: Yeah I'm getting really close I can do all the way to the final layer I just gotta remember how to do the cross and I'll have it
