Eugen didn't CREATE the fediverse yall. He HAPPENED to be the one who wrote a client that's gotten used a bunch by LOTS OF ACTUAL PEOPLE to BUILD the fediverse. We don't Owe him for the fediverse. The argument I made when m.s blocked other instances was, we are protecting our users. Our users expect us to protect them like this, that's why they are here and if they are not that audience there are other spaces for them.
