!21daychallenge. I'm pausing the challenge again. It seems I can't really stick to it at the moment and it's more frustrating to report that I didn't get much done than not reporting at all. And some days I'm not sure I should be doing something else as a priority. And it seems I'm the only one left anyway. Somehow it doesn't fly for me like it did last time. I'm sorry to my fellow challengers.

!21daychallenge DAy 10 ( I forgot yesterday so I'll make today day 10)
1.) Huge salad with 2 tomatoes and lots of salad greens, and I'm counting my pear cake, too! :-) I give it a5.
2.) Monitoring was so-so, not too happy.
3.) Did a lot of small cleaning things, like wiping surfaces and getting stuff in order
4.) No sports, had an upset stomach instead (the salad wasn't really helpful)
5.) As a personal project I decided what to give for Christmas. Not easy this year.
And also I would love some more company in the challenge, if anyone is interested?

!21daychallenge Day 9
Not a good day, when it comes to the challenge
1.) The only fruit/veg I had today were tiny avocado pieces in my sushi. And I ate very little, but not healthy at all. I give myself a 2.
2.) And my sugar levels were all over the place, but that had hormonal reasons. I never have a chance on this day of the month.
3.)I did an hour of garden work. Still not finished.
4.) No cleaning, undless I cont some sweeping in the garden.
5.) Personal project is also gardening.
But I was xmpping with nice people today, good talks, that cheered me up, so the day was good overall.

!21daychallenge Day 8
1.) A six again, and some radishes, some pepper, 2 mandarins
2.) uhoh. I did monitor, but sugar levels were all over the place anyway... didn't manage to keep them ok
3.) I did a little cycling today, no more htan 20 minutes
4.) Cleaned the window frames from outside. Couldn't reach everywhere. Now it is half-cleaned and looks weird.
5.) I tried to make a plan but didn't succeed.

!21daychallenge day ??? I'm a little stoned but at least no damn cigarettes today.

!21daychallenge day 7
1.) Radishes, Pear, and the rest was so, so, a six.
2.) Monitoring went ok again.
3.) I only did my shopping on foot today, nothing else.
4.) Guess I already have to take yesterdays joker :-(
5.) No personal project.
I did about nothing today, it wasn't such a good day. And I think I'll go straight to bed. Hope things get better tomorrow.

!21daychallenge Day 6
1.) Tomato, some radishes, 5 carrots (in a nice soup), some grapes, and the rest went good, too. I give myself an 8 today.
2.) Monitoring was ok.
3.) I actually did exercises for my shoulder. Felt good.
4.) Cleaned my chaos table, but it is Sunday and no cleaning on Sundays, so I guess I have a joker for next week.
5.)Personal Project was cuddling up in bed and reading funny stuff of no consequence.

!21daychallenge Day 6. Things are slowly creeping back to normalcy, starting to feel a little like myself again. I still have a strong urge to smoke but it's getting easier to ignore and it feels like it has a lesser impact on my being now. The second to forth day was horrible, I almost felt suicidal there for a while so it's nice that things are looking up.

1.) Did okish, had an apple, a pear, some grapes and some radishes. I'm calling it a 6.
2.) Ha! I wish everyday would be as good as today! Monitoring went very well.
3.) I did 2 hours of garden work until my hands were numb.
4.) Cleaned the floor again, because I brought in dirt from the garden *eyeroll*
5.) The garden was the personal project, too.
I'm satisfied with the day.

!21daychallenge Day 4 or 5? No update yesterday, if I remember correctly. Let's just say I've failed the extended challenge a little but at least I've haven't smoked any cigarettes!

!21daychallenge Day 4
1.) Ha! I'll call this an 8 today, and also had a banana, 2 tomatoes and a few radishes
2.) Blood sugar was great today.
3.) Only a few minutes of walking, this is way too cold!
4.) did the dishes and the washing
5.) As a personal project I wrote a letter to Santa to ask for a new clothes horse.
I guess it went mostly ok today.

!21daychallenge Day 3. I feel absolutely shit. Really really down and depressed. no nicotine though! I hope I'll feel slightly better tomorrow.
I hope I'm not taking water over my head but I've decided to extend my !21daychallenge to include general sobriety-ish. Which in practice means no alcohol, no cannabis (or other "get high" kind of drugs), no nicotine, only use prescribed dosages of meds and coffee is of course ok. Let's see how this goes. Not sure why but this prospect feels a bit scary.

!21daychallenge Day 3
Today was not a good day. Started with running all over the place to organize stuff, and then I completely run out of energy.
1.) I think I will do the controlled meal thing with a scale from 0 (bad) to 10 (good), because there are so many criteria. Today waas a 3 but at least I had 2 tomatoes.
2.) Used the meter enough but levels were all over the place anyway.
3.) Have been cycling around stop and go for about 15 minutes.
4.)Bits and pieces, mostly getting rid of dust
5.) No personal project today.
This hasn't been a great day at all, but less busy days are coming, so I hope it gets better

!21daychallenge Second day without nicotine. I've been trough this so many this before but it never seems to get any easier, just more predictable. Been feeling quite terrible today. very down with lots of anxiety. Haven't been able to do much math or productive stuff at all. One or two days to go before the physical withdrawal symptoms begin to subside. Let's keep at it.

!21daychallenge Day 2
1.) I had very uncontrolled „breakfast“ (cheeseburger and fries), but for lunch I had leftover spinach bulgur and 2 tomatoes. Dinner will be „Apfelnachtisch“ which is my own recipe, it countains one layer of one fresh apple.
2.) I didn't use my glucose monitor as often as I should have but it turned out kind of ok anyway.
3.) I've been walking around in the city center, about 30 minutes total.
4.) Cleaned all 4 floors in the flat.
5.) And my personal project is deciding which XMPP client I want in the future.

Gonna try this !21daychallenge thing for smoking. Failed multiple times since my last announcement but let's try yet again. First day going well at least!

!21daychallenge
I'm starting over with new goals, I kind of messed up, and a few things changed.
1.) 2 controlled meals every day, 4 fruit/veg.
2.) Better monitoring of blood sugar levels.
3.) 20 minutes moving, preferrably outside
4.) One bit of cleaning every day, except weekend
5.) At least 20 minutes on a personal project
So for today, Day 1:
1.) Bread and Cheese and an apple for breakfast, whole grain buckwheat bulgur with Onion and Spinach for lunch, canned fruit quark for dinner.
2.) A lot better than last week, have to watch the morning hours better though.
3.) Finally did some of the last works in the garden, but there's a little more to be done
4.) got rid of deposit bottles, organic waste and regular waste, might do little bits and pieces until I go to bed
5.) I will watch a film now and do some embroidery

Here is yesterdays update: I had some leftover chinese cabbage, 2 tomatoes and 2 onions. I cleaned up and took care of my wooden plate. No personal project. No sports. No motivation. This challenge feels a little lonely at the moment.
