    In #2MB #MineRacer #audiogames, I made it to position 1 on the time scoreboard, and position 1 on the points scoreboard, my total time was 7 minutes and 23 seconds! I scored 922773 points, jumped 30 pits, ducked 30 stalactites, and collected 239 coins! I ended my adventure at the bottom of a pit!
    This is the first run on a fresh installation of the Slint #GNU #Linux distribution. I did this installation using a release candidate, not yet made public. Slint is based on the #salix system.     My mom sent me an early birthday present--the Sanjean PRD-17. It's an AM-FM portable radio, designed for the visually-impaired. It features tactile markings on the controls, and spoken prompts for all actions. I've had the thing a couple of days, and like it. As I promised some friends and family, I recorded an audio "tour" of the radio.

    Momentous achievement for today: I crossed a street, with the guidance of an audible traffic signal; Woopeeee! Having sucessfully conquored this challenge, an old woman touched me on the shoulder, saying, "Good Boy"! Who wants to be my first experimental subject? Hahahaha. FYI, the project used to be known as #GNU Ring. I was able to make my account with no assistance, though found a few unlabeled controls, and a couple of toggles that had to be reached and activated using orca's flat review to emulate mouse clicks. #a11y #blindness #blind

    Ah. Never mind. But it should be possible to do an install using text-to-speech; I've never done it, tho. There are several #blind techs in the !Fediverse who may be able to give advice.
