@maiyannah
The hell do so many people like them. I've seen a lot find them quirky and enjoyable, and after learning from you...I have no idea why.
-
@camoceltic
I like your preface bits, it's nice to be able to read what specific perspective you're coming from. It's good when you know whether a reviewer is someone who oft plays that type of game, or wants to get into them, etc. Also I giggled at your dad from nintendo comment.
As always your little headers are both informative and funny, I like them.
That said, I'd tone down the comedic bits a -tad- in the actual main reviewing text, little bits I'm like "okay Camo that bit before was amusing but I wanna know proper stuff now" (That's deeply subjective tho)
Overall tho I liked it, was informative enough for me to believe I'd make my mind up based on that. (Well, I already had cos those types of games aren't my types of games. But if I hadn't, I think your review would have tipped one way or the other)

@maiyannah
Yeah, that's...that's very fucking odd timing.
-
@bob
Makes sense I suppose. I don't place a whole lot of importance on biological stuff, so maybe it just wouldn't 'click' for me in that way like it does for others.
-
@maiyannah
Fucking hell that's awful.
-
Also apparently the new C.I.A director was behind horrific torture or something? What the fucks up with THAT?
-
@maiyannah
So they, leaked documents, I guess detailing military plans or summin, hence leading to deaths cos it was made public so...well the people with guns on the other side found out their positions or some such through the documents...?
-
@maiyannah
Oh. So like a 'whistleblower' sort of situation, but rather than really expose any shitty government things, it just led to innocent deaths?
-
@maiyannah
As noted in my post, profoundly uneducated on Chelesa Manning.
What's up with her/why the dislike? Since you seem to know, and I am seeking to learn.
I honestly don't know anything about her other than, she was locked up for a long tine, she defied the government in some way, and her tweets are pretty cringey a lot of the time.
-
Life lesson: People who proudly proclaim how cuddly, affectionate and adorable they are as people, and with anyone, even strangers?
Tend to be cunts.

@camoceltic
:P
-
@gameragodzilla
Yeah, tis a shame.
-
Hey tho.
For anyone who is reading this.
I love @maiyannah
She's wonderful, and makes me smile.

Unless most of you just have a secret pact to ignore me, that a small minority either aren't in, or rarely break >.>
-
There's really not much connection between accounts and instances and such these days it doesn't feel like, and that saddens me.
Cos connecting people together while still allowing them their own space is...sorta the point of the fediverse to me.
-
...because honestly I'm shouting into the void 99% of the time, and when someone does reply, I can usually guess from a limited pool of people who they'll be >.>
-
General public service announcement:
Seriously tho if you ever disagree with my posts. Or I'm honestly wrong about something. Or you can flesh out what I'm saying. Feel free to do so.
I like listening and discussion. I wouldn't share my thoughts if I didn't.

The thing is, not believing trans people can fully transition, not believing people can be different to their birth sex. Up to you.
I believe trans people to be a thing, as far as I know the science is there.
To my admittedly limited knowledge, they're mentally ill and the best cure we have is transitioning, and in some way mentally adjusting them to be comfortable as they are is seen as unethical.
Again, extremely limited knowledge here, feel free to educate me if you know more/are trans. My lacking knowledge doesn't mean I don't support trans people, I do. Good? Good.
On to the ACTUAL POINT OF THIS POST.
Even if you don't believe people can change sex...the hell does 'correcting' pronouns even do?
All that will happen is people will disagree with you. All that'll happen is that a person will possibly be hurt by what you're saying.
If you're honestly genuinely right and can -prove- you are, okay, do that I guess.
But 'correcting' a pronoun isn't actually productive really is it? Just edgy.
-
Tho for the record, whatever's up with that, replying to the tweet saying she's safe with "correction: he" just makes me roll my eyes.
-
Also it's 'based' off a book that's totally fucking different, and it's an interesting read if only for how dramatically every shifted.
