@nerthos @maiyannah
Yo, untag, thanks in advance.
-
@maiyannah @nerthos
Was about to say, need only looking at poorer people in service industires n such. Doesn't matter if it's against the rules, if a customer offers you extra money, you fucking take it. It's friggin needed.
The choice between obeying the rules of a company that barely pays you enough to survive, and getting enough to eat right there and then, is a very easy one.
-
@maiyannah @nerthos
Huh. Today I learned.
-
@nerthos
Aha! Exactly!
-
@nerthos
"just like today we don't have alcohol smuggling mafias as we did 100 years ago."
As far as -you- know, they might just be really fucking good at smuggling :v
-
@maiyannah
That is correct. Suppose it just depends on their standing. If some well known name says stuff I get it. It's just when average Intern 999 says something and everyone jumps into "what the fuck I always hated [insert company]" that I think it seems a bit mad.
-
@maiyannah
Oh I agree in that particular case, cos they're literally the boss. It's when some animator, or an environmental artist does it, along those lines of...to be perhaps blunt, another 'cog in the machine' that one has to think "really?"
-
@maiyannah
True true. One wonders what all the 'male allies' will do in that situation.

2. This would piss off the opposite audience to the first >.>
One person in a company being an asshole, doesn't somehow mean EVERYTHING that company ever did is awful and shitty.
For one, bad people can still be talented, it happens quite a lot actually. I know everyone has the 'you grow up and the school bully has a dead-end part time job' fantasy, but that's not very realistic, sorry to say.
Two, they're one person. Companies are built of many people. You can't go back through an -entire- history of a companies films or games and go "they're all shit, I knew it, my proof is that one bloke who worked on them said nasty stuff online." That doesn't make sense.
I see this a lot with companies marked as "SJW" companies. The politics of -some- employees don't line up, so suddenly all of their games (Even when the same people now saying they're shit, loved them before they found out about the peoples politics, not suspicious at all :P) are apparently bad and were always bad.

@maiyannah
Ehehe why thank you sexy
-
Merely, why does that community seem so vicious overall. Indiviuals will always be just that, and I'll judge them as such. But that community...well I don't imagine it's doing anyone any favours in terms of acceptance yknow?
As prior noted, reminds of the LGBT crowd pushing people away and thus sabotaging themselves, and why I refused to be part of it.

@rw
You're very...Robek.

Hot takes time? Hot takes time.

@maiyannah
Makes sense mhm. Will watch that vid when I cans. Thanks for the link.
-
@maiyannah
Just a tad! (So of course it's one that's used a LOT)

I've seen a lot of people use this (Yes I know it's a satire article) when a 'bad' person does a 'good' take.
And...I recognize it's kidding about. But it feels like a really weird "I like what they did here but they'll never be redeemed in my eyes cos I'll keep using this as a genuine point" and that promotes 'sides' a bit too hard for me.
-
@maiyannah
Aye, that sounds like one of those things that if everyone liked him, they'd be alll "poor guy >.>" but cos people don't it becomes a laughing matter to them.
What's the stuff he deserves criticism for? If'n you don't mind me asking.
-
@maiyannah
She's just in a rush to fuck :P
-
@maiyannah
Oh he was on a console.
Yeah I remember when Playstation had that weird camera connect thing, and young kids ended up seeing people fucking on their sofas n stuff.
-
@maiyannah
I admit, I know nothing at all about the technical aspect to livestreaming, but I...I would -assume- you can't be the brightest bulb if you accidentally do such a thing.
