I have that one. It's pretty cood but I couldn't get vanilla debian to run on it. That was due to problems with the Nvidia card. Ubuntu works fine.

I just got the update to KDE Plasma 5.17! Liking it so far. Also, all of a sudden both Firefox and Thunderbird switched to dark modes (I have overall dark mode activated). Very nice!

Oh, and it's centralized in that you can only install packaged hosted in a central place by canonical.

In flatpak you can set any number of repository hosts.

Though I wonder: how on earth could a plant create its own potassium? Since potassium is an element and not a molecule, doesnt that mean it would have to transform one element into another?

The version of #flatpak in ubuntu 18.04 is 1.0.8. There's now a minor update 1.0.9 available which makes it possible to update apps with the h264 dependency (like Spotify) again.
I wonder whether canonical is holding back this update in order to push their #snap stuff..

I have another question. So since trees need (very little, but still) other minerals to grow, it would be so that if I repeatedly grew trees on an area and then cut down those trees and bring them somewhere else (i. e. not leave them there to rot), this area would eventually be depleted of important minerals?

@kyzh what about any other chemical elements? Are trees depending on some minerals in the ground? If not, why couldn't I just grow my plants in the air/in water?
