I was just pulled over, on the way to a client's, by a Random Breath Test setup

The copper shoved the machine in my face and asked me to count to 5

I counted 1....2....3.....4 and looked at him. Then said to him "I'm a bass player....I can't count past 4"

I got a laugh.

The I asked him, "you do know why roadies only ever count 1 2 don't you ?...because if they count to 4, the drummer starts playing and none of us want that !!"

....then I was tasered and maced. They laughed hard at that !!

No matter. I planned to donate a couple of shows after as I imagine it's going to be lean.

We are not going to be homeless, or anything that dire, but having strict limits on how much you can spend, and keeping income from more than one activity for myself, and a consistent good income from my other half, keeps the usury charges under control, and we intend to own outright in the next 5 years.

@aighead we've got a mortgage that would make you're eyes bleed, but the crazy thing is the inflation of the property in the area is insane. It pays me my salary again to do the renovations myself in my spare time plus one day a week when it's quiet.

The price on houses, not units, has gone up 1.3 - 1.5 in the last 3 years. We paid too much, but still below market value for the worst house in the best street in the suburb. That aside, it's our home. And we have fantastic neighbours all around.

Personally, I don't "trust" either of them.

I figured there was enough in an Seedman show to do a 30 minute daily digest of quality output. My favourite guest of his is Gerald Celente.

I'm fighting with my phone which is having trouble occasionally with booting up, but I should be finishing off a jingle for the lads on the foolishness of podcasting.

I'm doing all the backing tracks myself and I suck at programming drums. I guess I'll be better by the end of the process
