But, when I go to do or say something, I ask myself, what would my 7 year old think......I trust his judgement of reasonable.......I mean, how would you explain to to him that taking a watermelon to work would get you fired...

At the same time, most people are reasonable. Most people are hospitable and happy to share their experiences, regardless of your colour, creed, or sexuality.

I believe that the push towards a binary belief system as originally promoted by George Dubyah following 9/11 is used to divide the population, and the "anyone who doesn't agree with everything I believe is a Nazi" is the narrative being used to divide reasonable people like us

In my time on this earth, @gabriele is right

The genocidal group are almost non existent, where as those seriously scary types, with the tattoos, and copies of mein kampf think the final solution is to "leave us the fuck alone"

But for anyone who has traveled, bigotry is everywhere, wherever there are people who are oppressed, or marginalised, there is a pressure to blanket blame another group. We see it to extreme in Africa and the Sub Continent...
