Single shot bolt actions for accuracy. Remington 700, Winchester model 70, Savage 110 or Weatherby, or...

Plenty of different calibers. I go old school

Since you have .40 caliber, a carbine chambered in .40 is a good option.

Lever action in 30-30 are great deer guns. Plus multiple rounds & you can play cowboy
