Made #Mango Fool tonight!
1-2 ripe mangoes peeled, coarsely chopped, plus slices for garnish
10 mL lime zest and juice
15 mL orange juice
10 mL powdered sugar
200 mL heavy cream

Peel mangoes, cut into chunks. Puree in blender or food processor with orange and lime juices. Refrigerate overnight. Whip cream with powdered sugar until peaks form. Fold mango puree into whipped cream. Mint sprigs for garnish are optional. #dessert #recipe

Today in my mailbox: mail not meant for me. Same phonetic first name, different spelling; addressor government agency of the nation whose flag I sport in the window; street address does not exist, but is off by one from my own address. Very nearly opened it, but an online search revealed the true addressee. I've written a note to her to accompany the envelope.

I've never had an #irongall ink before -- do I need a pen dedicated to such inks?

@SlowRain *ahem* having read OP... it wasn't scary to me. I suspected I was hallucinating, I'd taken medication prescribed in Japan for sedation (jet lag, grief, insomnia). I asked a crewmember to translate the prescription, if there were printed side effects. Then I asked another if I was the only person seeing the balls of light on the ceiling. That's when they offered me all the snacks and water I could handle. I told them I understood and wouldn't complete the dose (I had 2/3 of one dose).

#Phlog and #blog writers who are also #diarists, do you ever wobble between writing for your eyes only an obsession that's making you crazy and stoking distrust and antipathy in other people, and posting it so your readers have an opportunity to console you or tell you they share those concerns too?
Do you keep those posts to yourself? Do you share with a professional mental health counsellor, your partner, your best friend?

I am watching the #TwilightZone 1959 episode "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet". As with William Shatner's character, I too had hallucinations on a plane. The irony is that he is offered a sleeping pill AFTER his hallucination, and I took a sleeping pill BEFORE my hallucination.

I didn't hallucinate monsters, I tripped literally balls of neon colours ricocheting against each other on the cabin's ceiling. I flew Cathay Pacific: the staff translated my prescription and assigned me a personal attendant.

@switchingsocial I've tried a couple of open source #ReallySimpleSyndication readers. I went back to #Liferea, so that is my #RSS #FeedReader recommendation for users with setups similar to mine. My OS is 64-bit Linux Mint 18.3.

It's funny that I thought some fountain pens would be less expensive if bought in Japan -- I see the US prices for the same pen and they're less expensive, although imported. The US sellers do not charge for shipping, too.
