so, my app for the apartment I've been staying as has been denied due to a negative rental history. This has never happened to me before, but if I can't stay here I don't know where to go or what to do with my cat. I'm hoping they can make some kind of exception maybe? but if not

if anyone in Portland OR has the means to take care of a small 8lbs cat until I can find a new place if things go south or has space for someone to crash for a while (or even better, a room available for rent that I could try applying to) I'd really appreciate it

Hi, I could use some help. I haven't received a check from unemployment in nearly a month, and my bank account has bottomed out. Hopefully I should get a check in a week, but until then any help would be greatly appreciated so I could buy some food and afford to make an overdue trip to the laundry mat
