I think @adam is right—no one is reading actual articles. We *all* skim headlines and run with it as if we know the story. Most of the headlines are misleading, designed to arrest attention, but not to let you know what's in the article.

@thehotiron @dcgirl @Lordimpala @ChrisWilson There used to be a bunch of smart, interesting people I followed on Twitter for all sorts of information. These days they just tweet links to NYT articles angry about Trump tweets. So I don't use it anymore.
