I recommend blocking quitter.pw. The admin JohnMH has expressed that he would allow white supremacy as long as there’s nothing “illegal”. See the screenshots below.

One thing I’m glad for in all this is how supportive folks within GNOME have been. I’ve been able to point out racist shit as I see it and get swift reactions.

“Fun” things I saw in the aftermath of me opening the issue:

• One user tagged every single one of my comments in the thread, and only my comments, with the monkey emoji

• “Clown world” was evoked via the “clown” and “globe” emoji

• One comment of mine was tagged with the “watermelon” emoji

• Someone on reddit straight-up called me a n*er

Spider-Man: Far From Home was really good.

“Well I’ve never met anyone offended by X” is yet another awful response when someone tells you that yes, X is problematic.

@federicomena @cassidyjames this is another good one. Unfortunately the GIMP developers have decided not to listen to anyone, and have instead plugged their ears.

One of my “favorite” responses when someone brings up a social justice issue is “this is an Americanism and Americans shouldn’t force people to do things”. It is 100% of the time completely wrong and manages to provide zero substance to the conversation.

Having 16GB of RAM on the XPS 13 makes a huge difference. I actually forgot how many apps I had running, even with plenty of Firefox tabs open
