I suspect that they wanted the Lexus but had to settle; there isn't a Lexus dealership in eastern Maine AFAIK. Being that they are old, I suspect creature comforts are very important to them. I mean, I'm pretty far away from being a teenager anymore and creature comforts are beginning to be important to *me*.

When it comes time to replace my truck, I am probably going to choose something more comfortable than a single cab configuration because bench seats are the worst :)

(however at the time I got my truck, being able to park it and not have the rear end taken out by a drunk driver where I lived was really an important thing too, so a full-size was ruled out quickly)

i will say that the one warranty repair process i had to go through with my buick wasn't too bad, but it took them 4 tries to actually fix the problem.

i'm still skeptical that it's good enough (and they admit it's not as comfortable but say it is "still pretty good") on creature comforts
