the >>> means their side, <<< means your side.
git will normally handle this stuff during a three-way rebase, but if you get conflicts it means you have to sort it yourself.
good luck...

seriously with e-mails like this which demonize non-trivial parts of the democratic party, do they seriously have to wonder why trump won??
they didn't vote *for* trump, they voted *against* the democrats, who keep having tone-deaf neoliberal messaging...

today the DNC sends me an e-mail titled "I need your help to fight the gun lobby"
i read the e-mail and found that the candidate in question wishes to ban all gun ownership; this is not compatible interests unfortunately...

@paulfree14 sure but I don't appreciate the warping you did of the AGPL.

@woozle @Laurelai @msk @noelle
when I said I would sue her, I was talking about her doing actions that would get us swatted (considering somebody just got killed in a swatting i don't think i need to explain why i don't wish to be swatted) when she was living with us; it would have been a lawsuit to secure eviction, as you can't just kick somebody out when they are legally residing in your house. she wound up leaving peacefully instead...
at the time, she (laurelai) was picking fights with various people on reddit and they were attempting to swat us, so that is what that IRC log was about.
this doesn't change the fact that eliza took it on herself to write that pastebin and post it to ED. she also did this about a business partner of mine later, so I can verify that has done that type of thing on two occasions... but I don't agree with or support it.
(please keep me untagged from this, i don't really wish to be involved in this dispute, i am only commenting because i was mentioned)

overall, fake news was *not* the reason Hillary lost though, that was due to complete and utter mismanagement of her campaign.
she never went to core democratic states because her people told her that she didn't have to worry about them...

it's not, but that doesn't change the fact that Jill Stein was chilling with Putin at a RT event, and was given a platform to smear Hillary via RT.
it also doesn't change the fact that russian intelligence did create a bunch of fake websites (in the same way that sketchy affiliate marketers do) and drove traffic to them via social media.
there's plenty of fake news published outside russia, too, though.

not really, maybe some people actually believed that the scammers were from Nigeria, but why would you say where you're actually from when you scam?

yes, that is essentially how a trademark-enforcement strategy would work. it wouldn't block CoSo from using the software, but it would block them from co-opting the brand, which is probably the larger concern here.

@psztrnk such license terms may or may not be legally enforceable, however...
and relicensing would require consent from all major contributors... seems unlikely

the problem is that the software is already AGPL and speaks an open federation protocol.
a decentralized social network where all nodes had to formally license the software would require new software and a new protocol.
it seems unlikely it would gain traction.
