    Since I'm such an idiot and forgot to post the original article last week, here's this week's update on my plan to get fit:

    Crap. Forgot to post this last week. Wish me luck in my journey to be thin again!

    @mike I love my Chromebook, but I love it for what it is - a simple device that boots in a few seconds, has amazing battery life, and allows me to quickly browse the Web. We tend to use ours as a go to machine when a phone/tablet isn't sufficient, but a laptop isn't really needed. It's a superb middle ground.

    Although interesting, this doesn't add to the appeal for me personally.

    @brandon I personally think not. I have a few MS certs. The fact of the matter is, MS is still REALLY prevalent in the enterprise. You would be remiss not to have any MS knowledge IMO.

    @mike I personally see no problem with it. It's not like they're going all Google on us. From what I've seen, they just want some user analytics. Using this info, they could really focus their efforts and apps, systems and tools that get the most usage.

    Good to know that you're opted-out be default if you upgrade though.

    @brian not Linux as such, but I've Tiny Tiny RSS in the past (it's Web based). I've found it really good.

    @welshgeekboy I think you're probably pushing it to get plasma running on a Pi. I'd go for XFCE or Mate if I were you.

    @Ghosty glad it's working for you. Clearly I'm in the minority, as many people love Neon/KDE, it's just not for me.

    Looking for some advice - I've installed Synology Drive on my machine, and the system tray icon is HUGE (screen shot below). Anyone come across this before, and know how to fix it? Basically, I want to reduce the size of the icon so it fits the panel. https://fosstodon.org/media/3-gaQkio8ez8v7In9tI

    Tried again with #KDE #Neon, but I just couldn't do it - way too buggy on my setup. #Ubuntu #Mate, I'm coming home. 😁 https://fosstodon.org/media/WJDC9GBdUvgIzi95AyI

    @ChrisWere never mind, found it:

    Your email account comes with 2 GB storage. This can be increased up to a maximum of 20 GB. Each additional gigabyte costs 0.25 EUR/month. You can have an unlimited number of subfolders.

    @ChrisWere hey Chris. I've considered Posteo a few times, but I'm always put off by the 2gb storage limit. Is that the max you can get, or can you purchase more?

    @mike I have tried Elementary a few times, it's gorgeous, but it just doesn't suit my work flow. Gnome2 worked for me, that's why I love mate.
