So I tried #KDE #Neon today, after hearing so much about it, like everywhere. Had nothing but problems with it - can't search for installed apps using the menu, Kontact is crashing all the time, and Discovery crashes if I even look at it. Nope, back to #Mate for me...

@brandon it does. A bot doesn't care if there's a link at the top, it will just see duplicate content and mark down your SEO. The point of the canonical link is to tell bots that one is a deliberate duplicate of the other, and which is the "master".

I'm pretty sure there's a simple way to set the canonical link in Medium.

@brandon just make sure you set the canonical links if you do, otherwise it will destroy whatever SEO you have.

@gairsty to get the sub-domain to work, all you need to do is create an A record (address record) for your sub-domain, that points to the IP address of your droplet. After a few hours, or should start working.

@MTomic just checked, it's a 256gb SSD - more than I though haha. It's not a bad machine, it's just the weight.

@MTomic yup, I'm with you. I currently have a HP 14" Probook 6460b (I think). I'd like another 13-14" device, but they're all really low end celeron crap, or really high end ultra books. I don't want the former, and I don't need the latter.

My current device isn't bad (i5, 8gb ram, 128gb SSD), but it's sooooo big and heavy.

@brandon power usage? What power usage does a PDF viewer require? Surely if it displays the PDF, it's job done?

Personally, I really like Foxit. Horses for courses though. 😉
