@cigarBGuitarEfx @protonmail I'd love to switch to #protonmail, but it seems so expensive. I use custom domains, and it looks like there's extra charges for every domain you use. Shame as I was on the beta program - it's awesome.

@brandon Alteon have been doing SSL inspection for years. It's an on-site appliance, so you don't need to send your traffic anywhere.

Having said that, even an off-site tool is better than no ssl inspection. As long as all the links are encrypted, which I'm sure they will be (being ssl inspection) then it's all good. πŸ‘

@charlag yeah, they're pretty good. I had no issues with them, but I went for the slightly more expensive admin hosting.

@brandon I quite like eOS. But if you're the kinda guy who love to tinker and customise the distro, it may not be for you. It's an awesome "spin up and go" distro.

@charlag I’ve used OwnCube in the past, they’re really good and not much more expensive than the guys you linked to.

Just discovered the #ff (follow Friday) has tag. I kept thinking people were talking about the colour white and getting it wrong!

Found some awesome people in that hash, thanks all.

@cigarBGuitarEfx @brandon I've also considered switching to podcasts instead of videos. I've never really played around with them though, and there are soooo many podcast sites out there. I don't know which to go with. Any recommendations for a podcast noob?

@aparrish my partner swears by a good old file-o-fax she'd much day her use that than an electronic version. Problem comes when sharing calendars is a requirement.

Fosstodon is a Mastodon instance that is dedicated to Free & Open Source Software, or FOSS as many call it. Fosstodon is for people who are interested in open source technology and the awesome community around it. Whether that be Linux, open source software like Firefox, or Mastodon itself. If you're interested in technology, Fosstodon is a great place to start.

@ignitionigel i use Tootdon on my iPad. It's pretty good. Probably the best of the Mastodon iApps IMO.

@dpreacher @mike that's one of the reasons I quite writing for MUO - the requirements for articles is very frustrating. E.G. Minimum of 600 words, must link to a minimum of 5 other muo articles, must contain the key works x amount of times.

I get it's good SEO, but I just enjoy writing about what I want, and I found muo very restrictive. They pay well though.
