@DistroJunkie I expected it to work with the standard stuff, like Rythmbox, SMS etc. but it works perfectly with the proprietary stuff too, like Whatsapp and Spotify. I'm really impressed.

@colomar yep, Akonadi is what I was having issues with. I don't get why it needs to be so complicated when others don't seem to be. Anyway, I have TBird working now, so I'm happy camper. :)

My experience with Kmail etc. wasn't the best, but my god KDE Connect is AWESOME!

@ohyran yeah, I think I'll stick with Thunderbird. Crazy how people's experience can vary so wildly with the same application.

@ohyran I am having horrendous issues with it crashing every 2 minutes...literally. I went with old faithful - Thunderbird. All is well in the world again now.

Any KDE users here? If so, 2 questions....

1) Why is kmail and kontact such a useless pile of steaming horse shit? I haven't seen an app have this many issues like ever!

2) What's the best groupware (mail, contact, call) application to use with kde?

@mike ironically, it can be. If you don't get many calls, it can actually make for a productive and relaxing weekend around the house.

@h4ck3r9 I don't know much about them either, sod I went on a few sites and arranged the AMD cards by price so I could work out which ones I could get for my budget.

I think did some googling as to which was the best for my needs in that shortlist.

I don't _need_ one as such, but it had definitely improved the experience on the few games I do play.

@mike we do one weekend every couple months. So we're expected to be around. It's not too bad.

@joseph report a bug? It's literally two mouse click though (bw icon > fill icon for matching login) then ctrl+v for TOTP. I don't think you're gonna get a much shorter process with any pw manager.
