@brandon it's pretty accurate, I'd say. However, just be safe, might be worth using the definition from the man page:
"nmcli is a command-line tool for controlling NetworkManager and reporting network status."

@bjoern I've used Axcrypt in the past, which is relatively easy to use (has a right-click context menu to Encrypt/decrypt files and folders). That's about the easiest I've used. https://www.axcrypt.net
@joseph @norbert I don't. MM access is purely internal only, so mobile apps won't work. Sorry.
@joseph do it. Like I said, diversity is key here. It's a FOSS focused site, but we encourage people talk about their other interests too.
@joseph oh, and welcome. 😁
@joseph your posts can be about whatever interests you. Yes, this is a FOSS instance, however that's just a guide, or a common interest that all members share. Diversity is key - so post about whatever you like (within reason).
@brandon even did a series of posts about configuring Exchange recently. Very interesting they were too!
@joseph @norbert we use Mattermost internally where I work. It's excellent. It's basically open source Slack.
@joseph I haven't had the need to take mine apart, as I don't feel it will need any upgrades for a while (i7, 8GB RAM, 256 SSD). But it's good to know that it's a sine job when the time comes.
I'm running #UbuntuMATE 18.04.
@joseph I'm so happy with mine, and their Linux support is great.
@acb it's not an issue once setup correctly. The performance if great.
@mattmcnutt @nextcloud I could have, but the device only has 512 RAM. It would have been too much for it.
@david_ross thank you, sir.
@wdavery possibly, but there performance is fine now it's all set up.
@Matter I don't have librepay. Can set one up if people prefer that though.
@mjjzf care to name and shame?
@chuck thanks buddy (I assume that's aimed at me?) anything we donate will carry proof. We will either post it to Patreon, or maybe set up a separate blog or something.
Whatever we decide to do, proof will most definitely be forthcoming.
@DelusionalAI you sir, are officially a Fosstodon Legend!
If you want the fwd address, ping me privately. 👍
Ok guys, we have set up a Patreon account for Fosstodon. Please don't feel obliged to donate, as you're definitely not. But if you feel you can help, it's very much appreciated.
Anything we make over and above our hosting costs will be donated to a FOSS project of your choosing!
@DelusionalAI very good point, and something I didn't really consider. I suppose I was thinking more in the way of, your offline machines would still contain an earlier synced version. Having said that, it's not easy to boot a machine in airplane mode.
Article duly updated - thanks for the feedback, Brett.
After running @nextcloud on my #RaspberryPi for a couple of weeks, here are my thoughts...
