I'm one of those awkward inbetweeners. Late Gen X or early Millennial. I caught the tail end of an MTV that was still cool and had actual music videos on it, but was also a kid when the Internet went mainstream, and a teenager when everybody suddenly got cellphones over the summer break.

Weird phenomenon: If you put a fan in a window that's letting in cold air and you point that fan upwards, the cold air gets sucked up by the fan instead of sinking down. It must be due to the negative air pressure that the fan creates behind itself. I mean, it's simple physics, but it's kind of cool to see it in action.
