    @chuck ose only the version of the flashing tool that they provide on G drive, newer versions don't work.

    i've only done eMMC flashing and booting, using the NVMe drive as either a home dir or docker volume. I've seen some posts about uboot or flashing a simple boot img to SD/eMMC to pass the boot off.

    it can get pretty warm under load at room temp with little airflow, definitely don't try OCing without improved cooling or having racked in a DC with air coming in from a cold aisle.

    @chuck ah, good board :)

    I bought some (like 50) bulk heatsinks from aliexpress a few years ago that I use on all my NVMe drives and SBCs, they were like 10c a piece and use 3m double sided thermal adhesive.

    the dietpi image is great for this board btw. many more kernel features compiled in (for docker esp) vs. the nanopc supplied images.

    Software might be neutral, but the people making it are not, so the idea it is possible to remain in the middle is complete bullshit.

    As we've seen with mstdn, Purism and even masto main, unless you come down hard and consistently on hate speech, harassment and abuse, it will spread. Period.

    Bigots exploit the alleged neutrality of people to spread their hate and violence.

    I believe in free speech too. What I don't believe in is endless harassment and abuse.

    It's very easy to do both.

    We did a lot of progress to reduce the bus factor lately, but most of the code is still owned and maintained by me.

    I think one way to improve that situation would be to have some reviewers before I merge my contributions, to distribute ownership of the codebase on other people.

    If you have some interest in HTML/JS/Python/CSS/Design/Docs, and want to help, do you mind adding your name here so I can ping you when relevant?
