@thomasfuchs @fribbledom I think one of the things microsoft has stumbled across with their controllers is how pervasively supported they are now, so this model may not work?

bluetooth + wifi dongle + wired, works on phones, pc (one of the best supported in linux), as well as xbox.

personally, I own two of them for pc couch gaming with my wife but do not buy any xbox games.

@FssOfDeath I feel as if it's a bit generous for them to have called it a beta given how frequently it crashes and how janky the configuration was.

even the built in bug reporter crashed :P

@FssOfDeath yeah the bridge is still in beta for linux (not even publicly listed to download anywhere). I'm using it to mess with a TUI mail app called aerc.

I can definitely vouch for their VPN service though, I use it on multiple devices, and OSes via both their own VPN client and OpenVPN directly. 10/10.

Damnit I wish the protonmail bridge worked more than 25% of the time.
