while, yes, a good wallpaper can make for a happier initial user experience -- you don't see Apple at WWDC talking about the new sexy wallpapers for OSX.

It's about quality of life improvements. things ike DND modes, interactive notifications, and improved UX.

to say daily driver users don't care or wouldn't notice that stuff is hogwash.

a few #KDE Plasma 5.16 feature highlights:

- a new DND mode
- rich notifications for downloads & file transfers
- OTP for VPNs
- overhauled lock screen
- new "mic" tray icon for when an app is recording via mic.

lazyweb: lets say there's a backplane with 4 minisas ports and each one is for a region of the board. how high of a likelihood that it would work if 4 different servers were connected into the one backplane and each had a region of the board to itself?

I just received a bunch of disks in the mail from someone to install on their behalf. it arrived with the original packing slip from china.

paid only $3 per disk for a box of 1.2TB 15K drives, no wonder he sent so many to have on hand just incase.
