@theoutrider There are two types of people who start up freeze peach sites: 1, the well-meaning but naïve ones, who inevitable proceed to increasingly desperately flap at the influx of bots, nazis and pedos, until they finally have enough and give up.

Then there's 2, the actively malicious ones, who think nazis and pedos aren't that bad actually. They last longer but fail so much more spectacularly.

@jk I think because the whole thing started with people who wanted to make self-replicating machines, as opposed to machines anyone actually would want.

@Gargron For these situations I usually use some kind of strong escapistic distraction to create a long series of sinking realisations that the thing I was nervous about and had just forgotten about does, in fact, still exist.

@suetanvil But hiring people to vote doesn’t work. They can still vote whatever way they want. That is specifically designed for. Stealing absentee votes does work. Also, he got caught now, but this wasn’t the first election he did this in.
