@inmysocks Well, are we talking about whole numbers, or integers?
If we go the integers route, the amount of possible integers between any two whole numbers is infinite.
But if we're purely talking about whole numbers, not so much.

@banjofox @frankiesaxx @viciousviscosity Another funny moment is that I went to use nano in the terminal, and he insisted on vi because "I don't know how to use nano"
At the very least, he was very adept at exiting vi, which is still black magic to my mind.
General consensus seems to be some variation of "provide an index that reads a sitemap of some sort, provide contextual information for different places on said sitemap."
Some frameworks like Ruby on Rails essentially give you a basic search system for free.
@frankiesaxx @viciousviscosity That's not how you spell Emacs.
Don't cook bacon naked.
ENLIGHTENMENT: Please use us!
Some of the guides on making #Jekyll searchable are laughably bad.
"Just create a Google custom search and add that form to your site!"
What? No, don't do that. Almost every version of that fix sucks. You don't have to outsource that function into a separate application to accomplish this.
@dt I don't like the way it makes my stomach feel, either. Hangovers have also gotten to a point where I feel like I'd rather hurry up and die already.
@cwebber At least you'll come out of this with more knowledge on how to fight this particular problem. :)
Love someone the way a brand thinks everyone loves their new branding.
Eh, in this case he's an actual engineer who helps the sales team, and in this instance he was actually showing me how to procure a solution for a client (and how to do a bunch of shit with Node / integrate it with two concurrent services / etc)
Because my position is in Customer Success (technically part of Sales), I think people tend to forget that I actually already know a lot. In contrast with people who go to code bootcamps, I'm largely self-taught and code as a hobby.
@kai Or install like 4 Atom plugins to get the embedded terminal and Sublime's minimap. :P
@craigmaloney Pantera.
In my session with a Sales Engineer the other day, he took one look at my development environment (Atom and a terminal) and said
"You know, developers would respect you a lot if you used the latest Visual Studio instead."
And I admit, it did look nice, and I'll admit that #Atom isn't perfect. I'm sure he meant nothing by what he said.
But being criticized for tool selection feels incredibly strange.

The means of production meets the means of raising capital!
We'll see what comes of it.
@nightpool @cwebber Fine, fine!
It's easier to type. 😉
@nightpool @cwebber Probably because it's easier to say. 😜
@nightpool @riking Interesting stuff!
Out of curiosity, is WebSub just a new name for Pubsubhubub, or is it a different set of technologies?
@cwebber Focus on something fun for a while!
@cwebber Don't be sad!
