@moonman Sell as official app on iOS, promote it through Facebook.

@xj9 It's pretty basic, but works well as an alternative to Flickr, DeviantArt, or YouTube. At the very least, it's not hard to theme.

I think it really just needs a fresh coat of paint, and ActivityPub support.

If I ever get back to theme development for it, I'd love to explore custom layouts and templates.

@Gargron The funny thing is that you'll likely see decentralized systems support this more than centralized systems ever will. In the past, it was possible to embed a Diaspora post directly into Friendica.

Federation doesn't have a huge use case for embedded content in posts unless that content is media. Everything else (status updates, text, images) can be federated.

I started watching Halt and Catch Fire recently, and I'm hooked. It's surprisingly heartfelt and the main characters are written really well. Takes place during a very interesting era of computing history.

I need to learn to keep my mouth shut and not utter so many stupid things at the drop of a hat.
