Hard to believe "Now That's What I Call Music!" is almost 100 years old. I fondly remember the first edition, then called "Here's The Ditties Mama Loves to Hum", a gramophone record with a 2 1/2 minute recording of "Them Dandy New York Dandies Ain't So Dandy After-All (extended)" by Clinton "Fats" McGarnagle on Side A; on side B, a shockingly racist traditional tune arranged for the short-lived Electrohydraulic Tubaphone
